East London, 17 August 2011 - Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University’s  (NMMU) Business School today announced the opening of the NMMU Business School East London & Border Kei Office (located at 63 Deveraux Avenue, Vincent, East London) to provide quality business, management, leadership and skills education.

The opening of a dedicated presence and employees to service the market stems from an increasing demand for NMMU Business School’s quality education products and programmes in the Border Kei region.  The Business School celebrated its new facility’s opening last week Thursday, 11 August 2011 with a prestigious breakfast event at The Osner with high-ranking officials & executives from HR, skills development, talent management and organisational development sectors from local business, provincial government, commerce and industry.

The new facility will be used for the delivery of NMMU Business School’s flagship MBA block release programme, the Management Development Certificate Programme as well as open short learning programmes in business, management and leadership that will be offered to adult students and organisations.

The NMMU Business School’s modern training facilities and office is centrally situated between Berea and the East London CBD, easily accessible from the N2 high-way, and is approximately 35 – 40 minutes from Bhisho.   The training facility has two lecture rooms, which can accommodate up to 60 students (20 seater and 40 seater lecture rooms), and is fitted with state-of-the-art video conferencing facilities, a dining hall, boardroom, offices and a general reception area.  In addition, the training facility will also be available as a premier fully furnished education facility that can be hired for education and training in the Border Kei region, subject to availability.
